We are delighted to announce that a team of four BBA students from the School of Accounting and Finance at PolyU has been crowned champions at the Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2025, organized by the Society of Registered Financial Planners (HKRFP). The winning team members are LUK Wai Lok, WAN Chenlin, LIANG Xinyue, and XU Zhenhan.
The competition, held on 15 November 2025, aims to raise awareness of financial planning among undergraduates and equip them with essential knowledge for a future career in the field. The team’s outstanding performance is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking.
Our students excelled in the competition, with LIANG Xinyue receiving the Best Presenter Award, showcasing her exceptional presentation skills. The team was coached by Dr Josephine WONG, the main coach since January 2025, with additional advice and workshops provided by Dr William WONG. We would like to extend our gratitude to several dedicated alumni, including Teddy Lau and Vicky Lau, who generously shared their expertise with the team and provided coaching on presentation skills that significantly contributed to their success.
