Programme Aims
The full-time Master of Finance (Corporate Finance) (MoF-CPF) programme aims to provide corporate finance practitioners with education opportunities to enhance their professionalism and elevate their intellectual capacity in corporate finance, corporate risk management and related areas.
On completion of the FT MoF-CPF programme, graduates will be able to:

Apply conceptual frameworks to analyse investment and corporate finance issues;

Solve asset management/corporate finance problems; and

Formulate financial strategies.
Characteristics

Students are able to complete the Master's programme in ONE year.

The most up-to-date industry practices are incorporated into the curriculum to make the programme a unique synthesis of academic theories and professional practice.

Open to applicants with little work experience.

The programme has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Programme, positioning students to sit for the CFA examinations.

The programme is taught by staff from the School of Accounting and Finance, which is accredited by The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong as a recognised institution for providing continuous professional training.

Students must complete 6 Compulsory Subjects (18 credits), 4 Elective Subjects (12 credits) and 2 Compulsory Capstone Subjects (6 credits).

A total of 36 credits is required for the Master of Finance (Corporate Finance) award.

A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, or the equivalent;
AND -
A minimum score of 600 in the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) OR its equivalence under the revised General Test in both Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning in Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).
If you are not a native speaker of English, and your Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English, you are expected to fulfil the University’s minimum English language requirement for admission purpose. Please refer to the "Admission Requirements" section for Taught Postgraduate Programmes at Study@PolyU for details.
Candidates with no or little work experience are welcome to apply.

1. Continuing Education Fund (CEF)
The six Compulsory Subjects of this programme have been included on the list of reimbursable courses under the Continuing Education Fund. The mother programme (Master of Finance (Corporate Finance)) of these subjects is recognised under the Qualifications Framework (QF Level[6]).
2. Student Visa, Accommodation and other Information for Non-local Students
Non-local students must obtain a valid student visa issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department before being allowed to register as students or commence study with PolyU.

HK$318,600 per programme (HK$8,850 per credit) for local and non-local students
Scholarships will be awarded to applicants with outstanding qualifications.
PolyU reserves the right to change or withdraw the scholarship at any time. In case of any dispute/disagreement, PolyU’s decision is final.
Copies of graduation certificate and official academic transcript of studies are required.
Applicants with any non-English certificates should also submit a set of corresponding official English-translated copies for reference.
