PolyU Sports Team Secures Grand Slam Championship for Seven Consecutive Years

The PolyU Sports Teams secured the Grand Slam title for the seventh consecutive year during the 2024/25 Inter-Collegiate Competition organised by the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK). The Teams have captured a total of 11 championships, nine first runners-up and nine second runners-up across 34 sports events. A total of 10 PolyU students have been recognised as “USFHK Most Valuable Players” or “USFHK Individual Champions”, acknowledging their remarkable
performances.

This year, all Sports Teams have performed exceptionally well. The PolyU soccer team won both the men’s and women’s championships for the first time, which is truly encouraging. The taekwondo men’s and women’s teams have also achieved back-to-back championships, while the men’s water polo team continues to dominate its rivals.
