EAGLE the Adventurers

“EAGLE the Adventurers” empowers PolyU students and students from our global partner universities with transformative experiential learning experiences.

It offers a platform with enriched intercultural interactions and hands-on leadership exposures through innovative training and dynamic engagements with the PolyU community, alumni, and global societal leaders, as well as a unique offshore trip that explores historic and modern sustainable development.

2025/26 EAGLE the Adventurers

opens for all PolyU UGC-funded undergraduate students, and selected undergraduate students from invited global partner universities. It provides a semester-long interactive experiential learning experiences for the selected PolyU students, and a two-week summer leadership immersion for both the selected PolyU and global students, including a leadership summit, a series of thematic workshops, a leadership camp and various local engagements, focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), leadership ethics, global outlook, etc.

Students will also embark on a unique offshore trip for an in-depth understanding on the development and localisation of SDGs. This immersive programme inspires students to lead with committed responsibility, shaping a sustainable future across local, national, and international communities.

Applications will open in October 2025 for PolyU students. Shortlisted students will be invited for an interview.

PolyU UGC-funded undergraduate students

Previous Achievements

The first two runs of EAGLE the Adventurers in 2023/24 and 2024/25 provided students with a one-year holistic leadership enhancement and a platform to develop their own social projects.

30 selected students learnt about the local needs in Kathmandu, Nepal, and co-created nine social projects with the Nepali community. They embarked on an offshore expedition to Nepal, visited renowned organizations and executed the social projects together with the locals.
