Holistic Student Development

EAGLE Global Youth Leadership Programme

EAGLE Global Youth Leadership Programme continues to provide students with holistic leadership advancement and education opportunities. In 2024/25, over 150 students engaged in in-depth leadership training on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ethics in leadership, social innovation and design thinking, and more, aiming to enhance their leadership competence and global outlook upon morality and ethics.

27 students from EAGLE the Adventurers experienced further leadership advancement training and, in May 2025, co-created several tech-driven social innovation projects with the Nepali community in Kathmandu, which aimed at tackling sustainability challenges and resolving hygiene and health-related problems in the context of Nepal’s underdeveloped status. Throughout their journey, the PolyU students demonstrated advanced leadership, strong personal growth and impressive cross-cultural exchange skills. The delegation also visited the United Nations House and the Embassy of the PRC in Nepal to deepen their understanding in SDGs and Belt and Road initiatives in action.

EAGLE continues to collaborate with the PolyU alumni community and world-renowned organisations in actualising the unique leadership education framework, which consolidates the expertise from the PolyU community in order to provide a holistic leadership development for PolyU students.
