Organised by the Student Affairs Office, PolyU’s “INSPIRE” Mentorship Programme Annual Gathering was held earlier this month, bringing together over 250 mentors and student mentees at Hotel ICON for a memorable sharing session.

The gathering was kicked off with a toast by PolyU’s Central Management Team (CMT) members, including Prof. Jin-Guang Teng, President; Prof. Kwok-yin Wong, Vice President (Education); Prof. Christopher Chao, Vice President (Research and Innovation) and Prof. Ben Young, Vice President (Student and Global Affairs); together with Council and Court members who are also “INSPIRE” mentors.

During the event, Mr Vincent Tam, Head of Talent Management of the Hong Kong Productivity Council and Mr Vincent Wu, People Partner – Hong Kong, Macau & Indonesia of Marsh, shared their insights on “Future Talent Trends”, echoing the theme of the Annual Gathering – “Celebration for Futurists”, and deepening our students’ understanding of how to equip themselves for the future job market.

The PolyU CMT members also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the programme mentors, who have facilitated the student mentees' holistic development, and helped them reach their full potential.

For PolyU undergraduate and postgraduate students of any discipline, the “INSPIRE” Mentorship Programme aims to enhance students’ holistic education experience and facilitate their all-round development under the mentorship of role models and prominent leaders in the PolyU community.
