理大举办「全球智慧城市峰会暨第四届国际城市信息学大会」　发布2025年智慧城市指数

为期三天的会议邀得逾240位知名学者及资深业界人士分享他们对城市信息学和智慧城市的真知灼见和研究创新，预计将有逾600位来自世界各地学者和不同界别人士出席。活动邀得国际知名科学家作主题演讲，并设政府和产业论坛、技术创新展览，以促进「官产学研」在智能城市领域的合作。

RISA co-organized The 6th Focused Ultrasound Neuromodulation (FUN25) Conference (只有英文版本)

The 6th Focused Ultrasound Neuromodulation (FUN25) Conference, presented by the International Transcranial Ultrasonic Stimulation Safety and Standards Consortium (iTRUSST), hosted by the Department of Biomedical Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU BME), co-organized by the Research Institute for Smart Ageing (RISA) and Zhuhai Society for Neuroscience took place on 9-11 July 2025 at PolyU. Through inspiring talks and exhibitions, FUN25 successfully connected global experts and industrial leaders to share insights on focused ultrasound neuromodulation.

RISE: World Fuel Cell Conference (只有英文版本)

This year, Hong Kong which is a cosmopolitan and energetic city, was selected to oragnise the WFCC 2025! The conference was chaired by Prof. Meng Ni, the Head of Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering and a member of the management committee of Research Institute for Smart Energy (RISE) of PolyU, and was co-chaired by Prof. Liang An (PolyU), Prof. Mengying Li (PolyU), Prof. Jian Wang (CityU), Prof. Weihong Li (CityU), Prof. Xianguo Li (University of Waterloo) and Prof. Jianbo Zhang (Tsinghua University). Miss Kate Fung served as the secretariat for the conference.

理大与京校联举办「我与科学家在一起」主题活动 诺贝尔奖得主走进理大 分享科研前沿思维

京校联会长李然陪同2010年诺贝尔物理奖得主Andre GEIM教授及2020年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖得主Harvey James ALTER教授走进理大校园，由两位诺贝尔奖得主担任主题讲者，分享他们在各自研究领域的卓越成果及独特见解。

未来食品研究院协办学术会议　论「健康中国2030」愿景转化为行动

理大未来食品研究院、食品科学及营养学系，与香港营养学会合作，于2024年12月14日在理大校园合办「香港营养学会45周年学术会议」，吸引了超过120名来自内地、香港及澳门的学生、研究人员、业界专家和医疗专业人士参与。

RCRE: ReACT2024 successfully held (只有英文版本)

The 1st International Conference on Research and Application of Carbonation Technology for Wastes and Concrete (ReACT2024) was successfully held from 11 to 14 December 2024 on PolyU campus. The Conference was jointly organized by the Research Centre for Resources Engineering towards Carbon Neutrality (RCRE) and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) of PolyU together with the Solid Waste and Eco-material Subcommittee of the Chinese Ceramic Society. The Conference attracted more than 270 academics, researchers, industrial professionals, government officials and postgraduate students from all over the world, including Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mainland China, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and United States.

RISUD, RILS: The 4th International Symposium of Water Disaster Mitigation and Water Environment Regulation successfully held (只有英文版本)

The 4th International Symposium of Water Disaster Mitigation and Water Environment Regulation cum the 14th South China Sea Tsunami Workshop were successfully held in Hong Kong from 29 November to 2 December 2024. This joint event was co-organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Sichuan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Research Institute for Sustainable Urban Development (RISUD), Research Institute for Land and Space (RILS), and supported by IAHR-HK Chapter, IAHR-China Chapter and relevant government departments of Hong Kong SAR.

「理大高等研究院创科论坛」圆满举行

理大高等研究院于2024年10月19日「理大创科X校友日2024」成功举办压轴活动「创科论坛」。在论坛上，研究院十八个辖下研究单位的代表，包括研究院院长和副院长，以及研究中心主任和副主任，介绍其研究单位及科研成果。论坛吸引了逾二百名参加者到场参与，以及超过28,800人次于世界各地透过哔哩哔哩、微信、微博及YouTube多个社交媒体平台观看直播。
