VisorX is an integrated AR thermal imaging mask designed to empower firefighters in zero-visibility environments. In dense smoke, traditional handheld thermal cameras occupy firefighters' hands and dangerously delay rescue operations. VisorX solves this by seamlessly embedding an AR display, thermal sensor, and edge AI directly into the SCBA breathing mask.
It automatically highlights trapped victims and extreme hazards with red bounding boxes in under 200ms, projecting these life-saving insights directly into the rescuer's field of view. This 100% hands-free design allows firefighters to continuously operate hoses, use demolition tools, and carry victims without interruption.
Simultaneously, VisorX acts as a mobile node, streaming live first-person view video, audio, and GPS coordinates to the VisorX OS command platform. By bridging the information gap between the frontline and rear commanders, VisorX halves search-and-rescue time, maximizes responder safety, and enables synchronized, real-time tactical decisions to save lives.
