The startup has created revolutionary flexible lithium batteries. It fabricated the metallic fabric by coating the textiles with a thin layer of metal with PolyU patented technology. By coating the suitable materials onto these fabrics, they can get the fabric electrodes and assemble them into a pouch cell. As the textiles are light in weight, flexible, durable, and have large specific surface areas, the batteries obtained excellent mechanical flexibility, high energy density, high stability under deformations, and proved to be penetration and impact safe.
