PolyU InnoHub@Wuhan
As a key innovation and entrepreneurship incubation platform of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in Central China, PolyU InnoHub@Wuhan is dedicated to bridging PolyU’s world-class research resources with Wuhan’s industrial opportunities. It provides full-cycle support for eligible entrepreneurial projects—from idea validation to market launch, and from incubation to accelerated growth.
Located in the core area of Qiaokou District, Wuhan (5th Floor, Tower T1, Hong Kong Center), PolyU InnoHub@Wuhan offers a 300 sq.m workspace including open workstations and private offices, delivering premium guarantees and convenient conditions for resident enterprises to establish and thrive in Wuhan.
Eligibility Criteria:
Basic Requirements
- Founded or co-founded by PolyU staff, students, or alumni (with valid identification proof).
- Possesses independent intellectual property rights or core innovative technologies (with relevant certification documents).
- Commits to launching or relocating core business operations in Wuhan, targeting the Mainland China market.
- No conflicts of interest with PolyU or its affiliated institutes.
Preferred Candidates
- Early-stage tech enterprises founded or co-invested by PolyU staff, students, or alumni.
- Projects authorized with PolyU’s IP or derived from PolyU’s technology transfer.
- Teams that have participated in PolyU’s innovation & entrepreneurship competitions or incubation programs.
- Small and medium-sized tech enterprises with existing investment or certain revenue capacity.
- High-tech enterprises or 專精特新 "Zhuan Jing Te Xin" (specialized, refined, characteristic, innovative) enterprises aligned with Wuhan’s industrial development directions.
InnoHub@Wuhan Service:
- Full-cycle entrepreneurial support: One-stop services covering 8 core modules—business registration, policy application, finance & tax consultation, legal advisory, intellectual property (IP) protection, R&D support, industrial chain connection, mentor guidance, and investment & financing matching.
- Government policy empowerment: In-depth cooperation with Wuhan Qiaokou District Government to assist enterprises in applying for talent programs, innovation funds, and industrial support policies, reducing startup costs and boosting development momentum. PolyU brand & resource network: Eligible projects may use the "PolyVentures" and "PolyU Tech" brand logos, with access to in-depth docking with PolyU’s technology, talent, and capital resources.
