Specification
  • AI-assisted Coding Service (Local Servers) provides access to a PolyU IC-hosted AI coding assistant that can be used directly in Visual Studio Code (VS Code) to support day-to-day programming work. It can help with code generation and refactoring, debugging suggestions, explanations, documentation/comments, and drafting tests or scripts across common languages and frameworks. Compute is provided by a centrally managed on‑prem server pool and may run on different machines (e.g., Asus ExpertCenter Pro ET900A or GPU servers with 2× RTX 4090). Users book the coding assistant service only and do not book or access specific computers directly.
