Associate Dean Appointments
Faculty Updates
With effect from 1 July 2026, Prof. Cindy Ngai has been appointed Associate Dean (Education) and Prof. Pei Qing has been appointed Associate Dean (Global Engagement). Prof. Pei also joins the Faculty through a joint appointment by the Division of Artificial Intelligence and the Humanities and Department of Chinese History and Culture.
On the same date, Prof. Yao Yao and Prof. Hang Xing stepped down from their roles as Associate Deans. The Faculty extends its appreciation to both Prof. Yao and Prof. Hang for their dedicated service.
Earlier in February 2026, Prof. William Feng was appointed Associate Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies). The appointments of Prof. Renia Lopez (Assistant Dean (Outreach and Communication)) and Prof. Liu Kanglong (Assistant Dean (Technology and Humanities Education)) remain unchanged.
