This research delves into the transformative power of parent-child interaction in fostering individuals’ workplace creativity by integrating the Work-Home Resources Model and Family-Work enrichment theory. This study draws on a multi-source multiwave design and collected data from 338 teachers who are married with kids and 37 supervisors. I propose and test a three-way mediation model to examine how resources from the family domain translate into professional creative outcomes through the mechanisms of inspiration, creative self-efficacy, and vitality. The findings illuminate that parent-child interaction serves as a significant predictor of both self-rate and supervisor-rate creative performance, and also with creative self-efficacy and vitality serve as robust mediators. However, in contrast to family-work enrichment expectation, inspiration did not serve as a significant mediator in this relationship. This highlights the necessity for additional cognitive affective resources combinations to foster individuals’ creativity. Furthermore, the child creative personality did not significantly moderate the parent-child interaction’s effects, thereby putting parent-child interaction in the position of universal structure resource detached from child personality traits. This is aligning with the Work-Home Resources Model’s focus on quality of resources rather than contextual variables. Furthermore, this research propels the theoretical integration by connecting the Work-Home Resources Model and Family-Work enrichment theory, suggesting that parent-child interaction enhances workplace creativity through mastery self-efficacy and vitality. From the practical view, the study findings support organizational policies which facilitate family-oriented initiatives. Through redefining parenting as a strategy investment in individuals’ creativity, this research highlights the interconnection of family dynamic and workplace innovation. It offered a framework for cultivating environments in which personal and professional developments are mutually beneficial. |

In digitalization transformation journey, number of disruptive digital technologies are implemented in firm’s daily business operations and this trend has been accelerated since Covid-19. While the majority of academic studies have predominantly concentrated on qualitative discussions concerning the benefits, limitations, applications, and implementation of digital technologies, this research aims to empirically investigate the impact of digital technology implementation announcements on firm value, specifically in terms of stock price, through the lens of the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory. An event study was conducted involving 135 publicly listed firms in the United States over the period from 2011 to 2021. The findings indicate that announcements regarding the implementation of digital technology are significantly associated with positive abnormal returns in stock prices in these firms. Additionally, regression analysis reveals that firms within the manufacturing sector achieve enhancements in firm value following the implementation of digital technology. Conversely, high-tech firms experience negative effects on firm value after making the announcements. With the findings, theoretical and managerial implications are developed. |

This study examines whether integrating the BaZi Ten Archetypes (八字十神) with the Big Five shows a statistically significant impact on employees’ work values categories—Intrinsic Work Values, Extrinsic Work Values, Social Work Values, and Prestige Work Values—beyond demographics and the Big Five alone. In a cross-sectional survey of 621 Chinese professionals, participants completed a standardized Big Five inventory and a work values questionnaire. BaZi Ten-Archetype indicators were deduced from participant-reported date of birth (DOB) and verified against identification where available, with the Hour pillar excluded; these indicators were examined alongside Big Five traits and the cultural-belief constructs—Fate orientation and Face concern. Using additive models (no interactions tested), BaZi indicators showed statistically significant impacts on all four work values categories, controlling for demographics and the Big Five (p < .05). Notably, Direct Officer (正官; year pillar) showed positive, statistically significant impacts across all four domains in this Chinese professional sample, while effects of the Big Five remained substantive. These results indicate that a culturally grounded archetype profile can complement established Western trait measures to profile work values priorities more precisely. The design is cross-sectional, relies on self-reports for survey measures, and the sample is predominantly Chinese; generalizations should therefore be made with caution. |

This thesis aims to analyze how quantitative trading intensity influences employee turnover at private securities trading funds in China while considering employee effort as a mediator and organizational support and psychological capital as moderators. As quantitative trading strategies become increasingly integral to financial markets, understanding their impact on employee behavior is crucial for maintaining workforce stability in these high-pressure environments. The study relies on quantitative research techniques, and its data is obtained through a survey of employees with private security trading funds. The results indicate that higher quantitative trading intensity correlates with increased employee effort, which subsequently leads to higher turnover rates. However, the analysis also reveals that organizational support and psychological capital significantly moderate this relationship. Specifically, strong organizational support and high levels of psychological capital are found to reduce the likelihood of turnover, even when employee effort is high. |

In previous studies, the focus was mainly on how the factors affecting corporate. It selects a sample of property management companies listed in Hong Kong from 2013 to 2024, using panel data from annual reports. It is noted that data prior to 2019 is relatively limited, and later years form the main empirical base.
Based on an empirical dataset primarily covering the years 2019 to 2023, this study finds that profitability among Hong Kong-listed property management companies is significantly influenced by the scale of managed area and the magnitude of property service income. While expanding management scope and revenue contributes positively to financial performance, the benefit exhibits signs of tapering beyond certain thresholds. These findings underscore the importance of strategic expansion and operational efficiency, providing new insights into how scale effects operate in a service-intensive industry. The results also carry managerial implications for balancing growth with resource allocation, and contribute to the broader understanding of firm performance dynamics in the post-real-estate-boom context.

This thesis investigates the impact of firm strategic and tactical communication on analyst recommendations, using the theoretical lenses of strategic management and firm communication. It examines the moderating roles of Top Management Team (TMT) heterogeneity, firm past performance, and industry growth. The study aims to bridge gaps in the existing literature by distinguishing between strategic and tactical communication and exploring their differential effects on analyst evaluations under various boundary conditions. Utilizing a cross-sectional analysis of data from 813 U.S. listed firms from 2012 to 2022, the study integrates data from I/B/E/S, Seeking Alpha, Execucomp, and Compustat databases. This comprehensive dataset provides a robust context for examining the dynamics of firm communication and analyst reactions across different economic cycles. |

The findings reveal that strategic communication significantly enhances analyst recommendations in stable conditions, while tactical communication's impact becomes crucial in dynamic environments or during periods of positive performance. TMT heterogeneity, positive past performance, and industry growth each play critical roles in moderating these effects. Specifically, diverse TMTs, positive past performance, and high industry growth conditions elevate the importance of tactical communication for analysts, while strategic communication becomes less significant under these circumstances.
This research contributes to strategic management literature by extending the understanding of how communication styles affect key stakeholder perceptions. It emphasizes the need for firms to adapt their strategies based on internal and external conditions and provides practical insights for managers aiming to align their communication strategies with analyst expectations, ultimately enhancing favorable analyst perceptions and recommendations.

Theoretical Contribution
The research provided three theoretical insights into technostress and its implications. Firstly, it uncovered an indirect effect of technostress that led to turnover intentions via the mediation of coping strategies. Secondly, it identified a moderating impact of habit on the relationship between technostress and problem-focused coping. Lastly, findings pointed toward a subtle but negative moderating effect of technostress inhibitors on the link between technostress and problem-focused coping.
Practical Contribution
Managers could leverage these insights to infuse technology use into daily tasks, nurture a supportive environment, and celebrate effective technology usage. The incorporation of a digital well-being culture, emphasizing balanced technology use, could further alleviate technostress. Essentially, understanding the interplay of habit, technostress, and coping strategies will be instrumental in informing initiatives for productivity enhancement, staff development, and transforming technostress from a challenge into a catalyst for growth.

In this thesis, the influencing factors of smart agriculture adoption in China are analyzed. The author proposes a research framework based on the technology-organization environment (TOE) theory to theoretically investigate the factors affecting the adoption of smart agriculture. Moreover, the author exploits micro-level data from China to provide empirical evidence supporting the theoretical analyses, which helps to better understand the development of the adoption of smart agriculture in China. In particular, the author integrates constructs, like government support and social networks playing a specific role in the context of Chinese agriculture, into the TOE framework to further explore their impacts on the adoption of smart agriculture. |

Through empirical analyses and testing, this thesis reveals the key influencing factors of smart agricultural technology adoption in agricultural enterprises in China. From the perspective of technical characteristics, technology competence has an impact on the willingness to adopt smart agricultural technologies, and the high-level support for enterprises is affected by technology competence. top management support (TMS) in the organizational dimension has a positive impact on the choice making of agricultural enterprises to adopt smart agricultural technologies. The factors of adoption intension in the organizational dimension are TMS, perceived costs, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Within the environmental dimension, government support plays a vital part on the decision making of agricultural enterprises to adopt smart agricultural technologies. Technology competence in the technical dimension is a factor affecting adoption of smart agriculture.
The characteristics of agricultural enterprises in the selection of influencing factors are considered in this thesis, which provides a theoretical basis for agricultural enterprises to adopt smart agricultural technologies in a targeted manner.
