Five teams of BBA students took part in the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (I.C.B.C.), one of the world’s largest and oldest case competitions, and advanced to the I.C.B.C. Final Weekend.

In January 2026, the teams travelled to Queen’s University in Canada to compete against top undergraduate business students from around the world under the guidance of Dr Hazel LEE, Assistant Dean (Student Development) of the Faculty of Business. Among the participating students, Julia Liya ZHU (BBA in Accounting and Finance, Year 2) won first place in the Human Resources & Ethics stream.

Julia demonstrated strong integration of academic knowledge with practical business insights. Her outstanding achievement reflects well-developed critical thinking, ethical reasoning and strategic problem-solving skills.
