We engaged Preface, a leading Hong Kong based technology education and training company, as the provider of AI-related training for our participants in this Competition.

Training Highlights

  • Sharing: The Future of Technology in Business
  • Hands-on training sessions on:
    • AI and Generative AI Tools
    • Design Thinking
    • Digital marketing
    • UX/UI
  • Guided work time on the business case
  • Solution presentations
  • Prize presentation

Students applied the hands-on experience to solve practical business solutions, and then presented to a panel of judges from the school. The team from Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section) won the competition. They were impressed that, despite only two days of learning, the students were able to develop well-thought-out solutions, demonstrating remarkable potential.

Many participants expressed interest in pursuing business studies after the competition. Dr Tina Wong, Assistant Dean (Accreditation) of PolyU Business School advised students the importance in developing a global perspective, as business is not limited to Hong Kong but operates worldwide and understanding global trends is crucial in the future working environment.

The Faculty members and instructors agreed that the most of participants exceeded expectations and demonstrated skills far beyond the typical high school level.
