The first MOOC about Interdisciplinary Innovations for Population Ageing

Population ageing is a global phenomenon profoundly affecting the well-being of communities. Social sciences, design, and engineering each offers unique, insightful innovations for ageing societies. In response to rapidly ageing populations, this course intends to equip learners with age-friendly mindsets and capacities to fulfill the burgeoning demand for tailored, innovative policy, products, and services for older adults. The design of this course has been inspired by the belief that we should move beyond a uni-disciplinary, problem-oriented approach with the burden view when addressing ageing issues to adopt a more multidisciplinary, opportunity-oriented approach which emphasises on mobilising learners as asset for active ageing promotion.   Welcome to the world of active ageing! The first run of the course will start at 12:00 on 10 January, 2022.   First Run of the MOOC: 10 January to 31 March, 2022 Course Enrollment: https://www.edx.org/course/interdisciplinary-innovations-for-population-aging Course Trailer: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12U0bgpqufY8VtW-6kEVvRMtz45CEsBQj/view?usp=sharing
