Dr Edwin LEE Kan-hing

Dr Lee is the Founder and CEO of Bridgeway Prime Shop Fund Management Ltd., Hong Kong’s first SFC-licensed asset management company dedicated to shop property investment and development. Since establishing Bridgeway in 2001, he has built the company into a leading property fund manager, purchasing over 170 street-level shops in Hong Kong with a combined value exceeding HK$5 billion. His long-term vision is to assemble a portfolio of 1,000 street-level shops across the city. His innovative Retail Shop Fund business model has reshaped Hong Kong’s commercial real estate investment landscape, making shop investments more accessible to professional investors. From 2013 to 2019, Dr Lee served as a Director of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. In 2010, he became the youngest and first non-American Chair of the International Business Brokers Association. His achievements have been recognised with several honours, including the Young Entrepreneur Award at the 2010 Hong Kong Business Awards, presented by DHL and the South China Morning Post, as well as selection as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Hong Kong in 2011. An active industry advocate, Dr Lee shares his expertise through social media and seminars, promoting public awareness of Hong Kong’s street-shop sector and facilitating knowledge transfer in retail shop investment.
Mr TAN Qian

Mr Tan is the founder and CEO of Huaxia Gallium Carbon Technology (Shenzhen) Company Limited, and Huaxia Semiconductor (Shenzhen) Company Limited, two high-tech enterprises specialising in manufacturing advanced semiconductor materials and pioneering carbon dioxide reduction technologies. Gallium is a strategic metal essential for advanced semiconductor technology. Currently, Huaxia Semiconductor is the world’s only enterprise to have established a gallium-centred materials chain for third-generation semiconductors that begins with raw source material. This “Huaxia gallium chain” spans from high-purity and ultra-high-purity gallium through to gallium nitride, gallium oxide, gallium antimonide, liquid gallium-based alloys, and multi-component gallium-based alloys. Through its proprietary, independently controlled technologies, the company has contributed to China’s strategic positioning in rare and dispersed metals. Under Mr Tan’s leadership, both Huaxia Semiconductor and Huaxia Gallium Carbon Technology have secured multiple patents for innovations, including gallium-based metal thermal reduction devices and carbon dioxide reduction methods. Huaxia’s innovations have been recognised through numerous accolades, including an invitation to the 7th Shenzhen Entrepreneurs’ Day commendation ceremony organised by Nanshan District and Shenzhen Municipality in 2025. Beyond his entrepreneurial work, Mr Tan serves as an enterprise mentor for several universities and is a registered technology expert in Shenzhen. He serves on the Expert Committee of the Shenzhen Semiconductor Industry Association and is a Director of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce. He actively promotes innovation and collaboration, thus strengthening China’s semiconductor industry as a resilient and self-reliant sector. He also maintains close ties with the PolyU community, participating in University and alumni initiatives such as the “INSPIRE” Mentorship Programme, and supporting student development by hosting PolyU interns.
Mr Parco WU Chun-sing

Mr Wu is a practising certified public accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. A graduate of PolyU’s School of Accounting and Finance (AF), since 2009 he has mentored AF students, helping them navigate their early careers. Mr Wu is the founder of PW CPA & Co., a Hong Kong-based firm known for its professional integrity. He has held key leadership roles in the accountancy field, including President of the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors, and Chair of the World Chinese Accountants Consortium. He currently serves on the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As Founding President of the World Charity Society, Mr Wu promotes youth development, social inclusion, and ESG awareness. In 2024, his contributions to community service and professional excellence earned him the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Agency for Volunteer Service, and in 2025 he received the Outstanding Alumni Award from PolyU’s School of Accounting and Finance. Together, these awards recognise his commitment to community service and professional excellence.
Prof. ZHANG Xiao-fei
Professor and Shenzhou Scholar, Information Systems, School of Management, Harbin Institute of Technology
Prof. Zhang completed his PhD at PolyU’s Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Lai Kee-hung. He is now Professor of Information Systems at the School of Management, Harbin Institute of Technology, where his research focuses on generative artificial intelligence, electronic health, and the platform economy. His work has appeared in leading journals, including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information & Management, and the European Journal of Information Systems. He has achieved an h-index of 30 on Google Scholar. Prof. Zhang has received several best paper recognitions, including the Best Paper Award in Healthcare IT at the International Conference on Information Systems, and best paper nominations from the European Journal of Information Systems and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. He contributes actively to the academic community, serving as an Associate Editor, Editorial Board Member, and Session Chair for several international journals and conferences.
