Dr Enrico SANTUS

Currently the Director (AI and ML) at Bayer, Dr Santus is honoured for his professional achievement in the domains of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). He was granted the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship to pursue a PhD in Computational Linguistics at PolyU, followed by three years of postdoctoral fellowships at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dedicated to the research and application of AI for various purposes including sentiment analysis, fintech, healthcare and fake news detection, Dr Santus contributes his skills and insights to the exploration, design and implementation of various AI solutions for pharmaceutical and crop sciences in his current appointment.

Being recognised as a young and innovative expert in the field, Dr Santus is a successful, talented and interdisciplinary player with a strong presence in both the academia and industry. An active NLP champion who has published over 69 papers in top-tier conferences and journals, he has received numerous grants and awards. As an advisor to several laboratories, foundations and start-ups, Dr Santus has been repeatedly covered by mainstream media around the world for his high-impact projects.

Mr LAW Wai-hung

Co-founder and CEO, Storius

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Language Studies with Business (2007)


Mr Law is the Group CEO of Storius, an outdoor short podcast app for cultural tourism. As of 2022, Storius has operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the U.S., Spain and Indonesia. Prior to founding Storius, he was the Director of Education For Good Community Interest Company, an innovative consultancy company, as well as the CEO of Inter Cultural Education, the first company he founded.
 
An Honorary Lecturer at The University of Hong Kong, Mr Law is concurrently a Non-official Member of the Human Resource Planning Commission, which is chaired by the Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government. In addition, he founded Cross Innovation, an innovative consultancy firm that offers training to different sectors for creative problem solving. Besides being an Advisor for both Hong Kong and Mainland China chapters of AIESEC, he serves as the Director of La Violet Education advocating creativity in education as well.

Mr Law graduated from PolyU with a Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies with Business. After that, he pursued a master’s degree in Theological Essentials at the Gateway Seminary in the U.S.
