Mr Yang is currently a Counsellor of Zhejiang Provincial Government and Chief Procurator of the People’s Procuratorate, Shaoxing, Zhejiang. He used to serve as Country Magistrate of Changxin City Government in Zhejiang.

Mr Yang has made major contributions to Mainland China in terms of advocating better governance for a better society. In recent years, his outstanding research outcomes provide a basis for developing towns with unique characters and national free trade zones.

Professor Ngai is ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists in his field by Stanford University in 2021 and among the most impactful researchers in Management Information Systems in 2020. Four of his papers are among the 1% most cited writings this decade. One of the most prominent researchers in Operations Management in Asia, Prof. Ngai was honoured with countless awards for his outstanding research, obtaining more than 20 external research grants and serving on the editorial boards of top-notch academic journals. 

In addition to his illustrious research, Prof. Ngai has also contributed actively to the development of PolyU’s educational programmes. As a team leader, he played an instrumental role in shaping the Business Analytics programme. Taking the lead in over 20 consultancy projects, he bridges academic research with industry applications. In recognition of his outstanding research and devoted services, Prof. Ngai was awarded the PolyU Faculty of Business (FB) Prize for Research and Scholarly Activities, the FB Award for Outstanding Achievement in Services, the FB Award for Teaching, and was named an FB Fellow. 

Outside of PolyU, Prof. Ngai has served the Research Grants Council, the National Competitive Grants Program, and the European Commission Council .

Mr Wilson WAN Sze-chung

Mr Wan embarked on his road to entrepreneurship in 2003, specialising in business strategies, human resource management and innovative business development. A founder of Success By MAGIC SBM™ Methodology and Miracle Quotient MQ©, he is currently the Director of Jacob Walery Limited, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Ebon Holdings Limited (Main board stock code: 599.hk) and Plover Bay Technologies Limited (Main board stock code: 1523.hk). 

Apart from being an innovative entrepreneur, Mr Wan has also been contributing to PolyU and giving back to society. An Executive Committee Member of the Accountancy and Finance Graduates Association (AFGA) of PolyU since 2003, he served as Honorary Treasurer and Board Member for the Federation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni Associations between 2005 and 2008. Being the Founder and Council Chairman of the charity Hong Kong Caring Magic Circus (HKCMC), he was honoured with the 5th Hong Kong Spirit Ambassadors Award, the 5th Hong Kong Volunteer Award, and ATV Hong Kong Loving Hearts Campaign Finalists Award.

Mr Raymond CHENG Yiu

Mr Cheng is currently Regional Director - International Freight Forwarding, Southeast Asia at Kerry Logistics, stationing in Singapore. After graduating from PolyU’s BBA (Hons) programme with a major in Global Supply Chain Management in 2010, he joined Kerry Logistics, one of Asia’s leading logistics service providers, as Management Trainee. Within ten years, he achieved remarkable career development and his outstanding contributions to the company’s business development were well recognised.

Mr Cheng is now in charge of the company’s ASEAN International Freight Forwarding (IFF) business, which accounts for over 15% of the group’s freight forwarding volume. He oversees Kerry Logistics’ operations in eight countries, supervising over 800 staff members.

Over the years, his astute leadership and business acumen were evidenced by his strong abilities to adapt to the ever-changing business environment amidst cultural differences among different territories. Being the youngest member of the company’s IFF Executive Committee, Mr Cheng is highly commended by Kerry Logistics for his contributions and achievements.

Mr Edwin WONG Kong-yuen

Mr Wong founded Cloudbreakr in 2015 to develop AI-powered tech-centric marketing solutions, end-to-end influencer marketing services, and social media analytics software for brand marketers. A pioneer in analytic tools for social media marketing, Cloudbreakr is the market leader in the Asia-Pacific region with proprietary media influencer ranking systems and performance benchmarking metrics, which are widely recognised and adopted by marketing professionals.

Cloudbreakr has secured over 10,000 business customers including Fortune 500 brands and leading digital agencies, and has attracted over 5,000 active social media influencers. Besides Hong Kong, Cloudbreakr also runs two regional offices in Malaysia and Thailand, with footprints in Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. Not only did the award-winning company manage to break even within its first six months of operation, but also reaped seven-digit annual revenue in USD for three consecutive years (2017 to 2020) with 200% growth per year. In recognition of Mr Wong’s achievement, he was named one of the 30 under 30 in Asia in 2021 by Forbes.

Forging close ties with his alma mater, Mr Wong has been a Visiting Lecturer at PolyU-SPEED and a devoted mentor who coaches PolyU students and hires them as interns.

Mr Bayern CHUI Kin-pong

Mr Chui is an Audit Partner of KPMG China, Hong Kong office, and is the Regional Head of Global Japanese Practice in Hong Kong. Once a Member of the Young Members’ Committee of HKICPA, he is currently a Fellow of HKICPA and a Member of ACCA.

Passionate about giving back to his alma mater, Mr Chui is now serving as the Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Accounting and Finance Graduates’ Association (AFGA), and Director of the Federation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni Associations. He also takes younger PolyU students under his wing by being a mentor of PolyU’s “INSPIRE” Mentorship Programme.

Ms Katie LEE Fong-chin

Founder of QCURE, Ms Lee is a home-grown entrepreneur holding bachelor and master’s degrees from PolyU. She graduated from the MSc in China Business Studies programme with a full scholarship. In 2009, she started her own business in Mainland China and since then, she has founded marketing companies in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Taiyuan. With her profound experience, she set up Qcuremarketing Technology Company Limited in 2016 as a springboard for Hong Kong and overseas companies to tap into the mainland market. The company provides one-stop services such as product licensing, cross-border e-commerce, warehouse logistics, online marketing, public relations services and event planning, serving more than 100 brands and clients in sectors as diverse as medical, healthcare, beauty, pets, government departments and universities.


In 2018, QCURE medical platform was among the first cohort of projects under the “Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Joint Action” organised by the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR. In 2019-2020, Qcuremarketing became an official service provider of Tencent, Weimob and Meituan.


In 2022, Ms Lee moved into PolyU InnoHub in Shenzhen, spearheading an innovative project that leverages her own experience and Hong Kong’s unique advantages to bridge enterprises around the world with the Chinese market.
