Biography

Dr. Su Daiqin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Su received his PhD in physics from The University of Queensland in 2017, and his Master and Bachler degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2012 and 2009, respectively. From 2020 to 2025, he served as an Associate Professor in School of Physics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, he worked as a research scientist in Xanadu Quantum Technologies Inc. in Canada. 

Dr. Su has extensive experience in both academia and industry, and his research focuses on optical quantum computing. His interests include the development of quantum algorithms and their applications, the design of fault-tolerant optical quantum computing architectures, and the theory of quantum error correction.
