Departmental Visit by Departmental Academic Advisor – Professor Vladimiro Miranda

Date: 19th to 23rd May 2014   Professor Vladimiro Miranda spent 7-day trip to Hong Kong, staying with the Department from 19th to 23rd May 2014.  During the trip, he met different groups of our academic staff to grasp a basic understanding of the Department’s teaching and research development.  A programme rundown was prepared and different research groups were being arranged to meet Professor Miranda.  At the end of each meeting session, a tour to designated research laboratories was also arranged.   At the end of the whole programme, Professor Miranda was invited to give a brief sharing to all of our academic staff.
