Dr. Dingbin LI

Biography
Dr. Li joined the CNERC as a Postdoctoral Fellow in August 2026. He received his BEng in Civil Engineering from Henan University in 2016, and his MEng and PhD degrees in Structural Engineering from Guangzhou University in 2019 and 2023, respectively. His research primarily focuses on advanced seismic-resilient structural systems, with an emphasis on utilizing various energy dissipation mechanisms to achieve low-damage and self-centering performance. Dr. Li has extensive experience in conducting large-scale structural tests. Additionally, his expertise includes developing advanced numerical model calibration methodologies, validated using data from full-scale steel frame shaking table tests conducted at E-Defense.
