Dr. Yiwen CAO

Biography
Dr. Cao joined the CNERC as a Postdoctoral Fellow in April 2026. He obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering from Hunan University in 2025. Previously, he earned his BEng and MEng degrees in Civil Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2019 and 2021 respectively. His research interests include wind engineering, structural dynamics, and vibration control, with a particular emphasis on wind-induced vibration mitigation for long-span suspension bridges.
