Dr. Fei XU
Biography
Dr. Fei Xu is currently a Professor in Chongqing University. She joined the CNERC in July 2016 as a Postdoctoral Fellow till 2019. She obtained her PhD degree in Structural Engineering and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering both at Zhejiang University. Her research interests lie in steel and steel-composite structures, including ductile and low cycle fatigue fracture of steel and steel-concrete composite structures, seismic performance and design of energy-dissipation components, and structural design of tubular members and joints. Currently, she is focusing on developing modular construction buildings to promote green building system and sustainable and efficient construction in Hong Kong.
