On 29 November 2025, the Alumni Culture and Heritage Tours Club and the Alumni Photography and Films Club co-hosted a visit to Sha Tau Kok, where over 40 alumni joined to explore this restricted border area in Hong Kong known for its cultural traditions and distinctive landscape.
Participants visited the entrance to Chung Ying Street, where Hong Kong meets Shenzhen, as well as Sha Tau Kok Pier, Sha Tau Kok Chuen, and Tin Hau Temple. After a traditional Hakka-style lunch, the group proceeded to Long Valley in Ho Sheung Heung, where they enjoyed watching wild birds in the wetland.
During the tour, Ms Winnie Law, Core Member of the Alumni Photography and Films Club, shared photography tips and techniques for capturing landmarks and natural scenery.
