On 17 April 2023, Dr Miranda Lou, Executive Vice President of PolyU, together with Ir Prof. Edwin Cheng, Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Dr Sean Xu, Assistant Director of Mainland Development Office, visited Chengdu, Sichuan.
Dr Lou visited alumni's entreprises in Chengdu, which have achieved impressive results in their respective industries.
After that, Dr Lou met with the Preparation Committee of PolyU Sichuan Alumni Network to discuss the establishment of the Network. She was so impressed with the passion and enthusiasm of Sichuan alumni and looked forward to the establishment of the Network to provide a platform to exchange alumni experiences and integrate alumni resources.
