On 27 December 2021, PolyU School of Hotel and Tourism Management Mainland Alumni Network (PolyU SHTMMAN) successfully organised the first event for celebration of PolyU’s 85th anniversary, bringing over 50 SHTMers together on the “One Greater Bay Area” cruise. This is not only a finale event of the network in 2021, but also an inaugurated celebratory event by the network to celebrate PolyU’s 85th anniversary.
Mr Elton Sun, President of PolyU SHTMMAN concluded the fruitful results of the Network in 2021 and shared the Network’s plan for the coming year, including the setup of the Home of PolyU and the Network’s WeiXin official account.
SHTMMAN will stage exciting celebratory events in major cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, Chengdu etc., further strengthening the bonds between the alumni and PolyU.
