Keynote Speaker
Mr Edward Lau
Chairman of the Innovation & Transformation Committee of the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Industries Association
Mr. Edward Lau has 20 years of management and consulting experience across the Asia-Pacific region, specialising in AI, digital transformation, and value creation through “AI x EI (Enterprise Intelligence)”. He previously served as the General Manager, APAC of a Hong Kong Main Board-listed technology company with a market capitalisation of HK$ 60 billion, and as the COO, ASEAN for a Microsoft Global Gold Partner that achieved 12 consecutive Microsoft Partner of the Year awards. In additional to serving in the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Industries Association, Edward also holds several roles, including advisor to an AI unicorn, Chairman of the AI Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants Australia (HK), and Vice Chairman of the New Economy Committee of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association. Edward is committed to driving positive impact on human wellbeing and a sustainable future. He has been appointed as a National Expert for the World Summit Awards (WSA), a global digital innovation initiative spanning 182 countries and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
