Co-hosted by the Alumni Culture Heritage Tour Club and the Alumni Foodie Club, the upcoming Eco-Cultural Tour will take alumni to explore Tai O and experience the harmonious blend of people, nature, ecology, and heritage.

Led by a professional guide, alumni will walk through Tai O’s charming streets and alleyways, crossing historic bridges, visiting ancient temples and admiring the iconic stilt houses, while appreciating the historical development of traditional fishing village and discovering the unique charm of the Tanka heritage and waterside way of life. The journey continues with a boat ride through the waterways and out to sea to spot the Chinese white dolphins, offering a close-up at Tai O’s rich natural ecology.

The programme also includes a chance to savour Tai O’s local delicacies and take part in a hands-on workshop to make traditional cha guo (tea cake), allowing you to experience the warmth and character of this remarkable place through its sights, flavours and cultural traditions.
