Summary
As organisations integrate AI across industries, leaders and professionals face new questions: how can strategies and skills evolve to enable effective human-AI collaboration and sustained competitiveness? Jointly organised by the Federation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni Associations (FHKPUAA) and the Alumni Affairs Office, this one-hour online talk held over lunchtime explores meaningful ways to leverage AI for greater productivity and business growth.
Prof. Andy Chun, Professor of Practice at the Department of Computing of PolyU, will share practical insights on the latest developments in AI within the digital economy, highlighting strategic priorities in the evolving AI landscape. He will discuss how organisations can use AI to reshape business operations, as well as address challenges and risk management considerations related to cybersecurity.

Prof. Chun is a renowned AI visionary with over 30 years of experience driving technological innovation across industries. As Hong Kong’s leading AI pioneer, he has developed ground-breaking solutions that have improved social services, quality of life, and economic development. He focuses on digital innovation and previously served as Regional Director of Technology Innovation at Prudential plc. Prof. Chun also founded the Hong Kong Computer Society’s AI Specialist Group, advises government committees, and has received numerous international awards for his pioneering work in AI.
