Dr Angelina LO Kwok-yin
Founder Director, CreativeKids International Limited
Dr Lo has been a leading figure in creative art and design education in Hong Kong since 1991. She uses constructivism and constructionism to encourage authentic thinking and the value of “happy mistakes” among children from the age of 18 months to 18 years. Leading a team of over 60 professionals, she collaborates with schools, non-governmental organisations, and cultural organisations to promote creativity as a pathway to personal growth and social inclusion. Her innovative approach inspires young minds to develop courage, empathy, and resilience, helping to shape the future of creative education in Hong Kong.
From 2019 to 2021, Dr Lo led “Playful Public Design by Children”, a design research project that engaged 1,023 children in exploring and reimagining public facilities in Shing Mun Country Park. Rooted in hands-on exploration, the project fostered curiosity and adaptability. In 2025, she launched “Seven Senses Adventure”, an immersive experiential class involving 96 parent-child pairs, as part of the PMQ Seed Programme. The programme integrates seven senses – sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch, as well as the vestibular sense (balance and movement) and proprioception (awareness of body position) – to create sensory experiences that spark creativity and emotional connection.
