Profile of LST recipient

Ms Poon is a renowned children’s literature author in Hong Kong. Since 2013, she has been  a member of the China Writers Association. She has published over 100 works, many of which have received awards and been included in anthologies and textbooks. In recognition of her contributions to children’s literature, she was selected as the featured author at the 33rd Hong Kong Book Fair. Ms Poon has served as a Professional Consultant for Literary Arts at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, where she has planned multiple literary and educational projects. For many years, she has been a mentor for the Chinese writing promotion programme organised by the Language Education and SCOLAR Section. She has also written moral education stories for the Independent Commission Against Corruption. Her recent honours include the Gold Award at the China Star Poetry Conference, and recognition in Beijing as a Traditional Cultural Heritage and Development Cultural Heritage Public Figure.
