AF Elite Scholarship

The AF Elite Scholarship is granted to eligible local students with outstanding HKDSE results and admitted to the 4-year BBA (Hons) Scheme in Accounting and Finance (programme code: 21453; JUPAS code: JS3060) offered by the School of Accounting and Finance (AF) starting from the 2026/27 intake cohort.

 

Benefits

A maximum of 30 scholarships shall be awarded. Each awardee will receive a scholarship of up to HK$428,000 with other complimentary entitlements. This includes:

  • Full tuition fee coverage for the whole undergraduate study*;
  • Study allowance*;
  • Sponsorship for participation in overseas exchange and enrichment activities#;
  • Guaranteed internships at reputable corporations; and
  • Mentorship by industry professionals

Eligibility

Current Secondary Six local students taking the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) for the first attempt.

 

Application

Interested students should complete the Online Application Form on or before 30 June 2026 at Hong Kong Time 23:59. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview. Successful applicants will receive conditional offers of the scholarship.

 

Remarks

  • Conditions of Award: Each recipient of the scholarship shall meet the University’s general entrance requirements for admission to AF’s full time BBA programmes; attain an aggregate HKDSE scores of above 24.5 for the Best 5 subjects; and be successfully admitted to JS3060.
  • Conditions of Annual Renewal: Each scholarship recipient shall maintain full-time registered student status at AF and be free of any disciplinary record during the study period; and maintain good performance during his/her studies in the AF programme with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 at the end of each academic year.
  • Under the “Guideline Governing the Concurrent Holding of Scholarships”, a student can concurrently hold more than one scholarship administered by the University in an academic year if the total value of scholarships received by him/her does not exceed his/her annual tuition fee payable plus an allowance of HK$60,000, unless otherwise stipulated.
  • Eligibility for the scholarship will lapse automatically if the student terminates his/her study in AF, transfers to another department, or fails to comply with University policies/regulations and/or the laws of Hong Kong.
  • PolyU/AF reserves the right to change the terms or withdraw the scholarship at any time.  In case of any dispute/disagreement, the decision of PolyU/AF is final.

* The Extended Mathematics modules will also be taken into account for scholarship consideration. For the purpose of calculating the admission scores, HKDSE level attainments will be converted to level points where Level 5**=8.5, 5*=7, 5=5.5, 4=4, 3=3, 2=2, 1=1 and Unclassified=0.
