Short Description
Dr Xu is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering (AAE), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his BEng degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China, in 2012, and the PhD degree in Control Science and Engineering from the same university in 2018. Prior to his current position, he was Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant Professor with AAE. He visited The University of New South Wales, Australia, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2023. He has been awarded several research grants including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientists Fund, Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Fund, State Key Laboratory of Satellite Navigation System and Equipment Technology Open Fund, etc. He also leads research collaborative projects with relevant industries.
