Biography

Short Description
Dr Haoyang Yang is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering (AAE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received the BEng degree in Measurement and Control Technique and Instruments from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2017 and PhD degree in Navigation Guidance and Control from Beihang University (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Beijing, China in 2023 and exchanged to National University of Singapore for over 12 months during his PhD study. Before becoming a Research Assistant Professor, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in AAE and a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, UK. He also gained industry and research experience through internships at DJI and the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
