Summit Overview (9 December 2026)

Low Earth Orbit (LEO) has become a critical component of the New Space Economy, driven by the rapid expansion of broadband constellations and remote sensing satellites. These Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs) are enabling a new generation of space infrastructure and services. At the same time, the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) is emerging as a major growth sector through the deployment of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and other low-altitude aerial platforms. Applications ranging from logistics and transportation to emergency response and public services are accelerating the commercialisation of LAE technologies.

This one-day summit will examine these two rapidly developing sectors through an industry-focused programme emphasising practical applications, deployment experiences, and future opportunities.

The summit consists of two segments:

Segment 1: Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Applications – Five presentations covering developments in broadband communications, remote sensing, and emerging space infrastructure.

Segment 2: Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) – Six presentations addressing commercial, industrial, and public-service applications of low-altitude aerial systems.
