Programme Aims

To foster students' knowledge and skills in rehabilitation sciences or areas of clinical specialism relevant to the discipline, to improve their professional competence in advanced rehabilitation sciences practice.
Characteristics
To enhance the integration of people with disabilities into mainstream society, rehabilitation practices should be equally emphasised across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, clients’ homes and communities, and workplaces. Our MScAdRS equips rehabilitation professionals and therapists with advanced knowledge and skills, grounded in a strong theoretical and scientific foundation of evidence-based practice that is responsive to both personal and environmental factors in practice and research settings. The programme offers a Generic advanced rehabilitation sciences stream as well as a distinctive specialism in the Rehabilitation of People with Developmental Disabilities, allowing students to advance their practice and become future leaders in either broad or specialised areas of rehabilitation.
Please note that this programme does not confer eligibility for registration with the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong or Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong.
