The visit provided a valuable platform for open exchange on shared perspectives, institutional priorities, and potential avenues for collaboration. The UAL delegation also took part in a guided tour of the School, including a visit to the solo exhibition by Mr Raman Hui, an internationally acclaimed animation master and PolyU distinguished alumnus, while gaining insights into PolyU Design’s learning environment, teaching spaces and facilities, and the alumnus’s creative practice and artistic vision.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the visit, marking an important milestone in the relationship between the two institutions. The MoU was signed by Prof. Kun‑Pyo Lee, Dean of PolyU School of Design, and Prof. Rathna Ramanathan, Provost of Central Saint Martins and UAL Executive Dean, Global Affairs. The signing ceremony was witnessed by PolyU President Prof. Jin‑Guang Teng and UAL Vice-Chancellor Prof. Karen Stanton.
During their visit, the Global Engagement Office (GEO) also arranged the UAL delegates to meet with the Faculty of Humanities (FH) and the School of Fashion and Textiles (SFT), and further enhancing cross-faculty dialogue and mutual understanding.
