The School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU Design) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with K11 by AC Limited, marking a new strategic partnership to enhance industry-academic collaboration and create meaningful learning opportunities for future designers.
The MOU signing ceremony was held at the K11 MUSEA Gentry Club, bringing together representatives from both organisations to formalise a shared commitment to nurturing emerging creative talent through industry engagement, experiential learning, and knowledge exchange.
Under the partnership, PolyU Design students will benefit from a range of opportunities designed to bridge classroom learning and professional practice. These include internship placements with workplace supervision, collaborative projects that support academic and co-operative learning, and a series of design training workshops, professional talks, and knowledge-sharing activities jointly organised by PolyU Design and K11 by AC.
Professor Lee Kun-pyo, Dean of PolyU Design, represented the School at the signing ceremony alongside Ms Maria Hui, Group Chief Human Resources Officer of K11 by AC.
