Biography

Mr Ricco Yip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Science degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In addition, he obtained a Diploma in Modern Acupuncture accredited by the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association.

Following his graduation, Mr Yip worked in various clinical settings, including community rehabilitation centre, and vocational and residential services centre for adults with physical disabilities in NGO. Before assuming as Assistant Professor of Practice at RS of PolyU, he served as Physiotherapist I at the Rehabilitation Clinic (Physiotherapy), providing services to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological conditions and sports injuries.

Mr Ricco Yip is a passionate learner and has been advancing his professional skills in neurological rehabilitation and sports injury management. He is eager to share his clinical experience and knowledge with students. He envisions nurturing the next generation of competent and empathetic physiotherapists.
