PolyU - Dongguan Technology Exchange Webinar

HK PolyU Research and Innovation Office and the Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau (STB) jointly organised a technology exchange webinar to foster the communication and research collaboration among the academia of PolyU and industries of Dongguan.

Representatives from the Dongguan STB, Binhai Bay High-tech Zone, the Municipal Science and Technology Talent Development and Promotion Association, Dongguan Yongqiang Vehicles Manufacturing, DeRUCCI, and Moxi Wanhai (Guangdong) Biotechnology etc. attended the event. Three PolyU researchers introduced their latest projects in new materials. The event was successful held and received positive feedback from both sides.

Companies from Dongguan also show interests in more than 30 projects from the departments of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, Applied Physics, Institute of Textiles and Clothing, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Information Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering etc. There will be "one-to-one" project matching and follow-up meetings afterwards.

PolyU will keep up the synergy to work with Dongguan and other cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to foster research collaboration and technology transfer to benefit Hong Kong, GBA and the Nation.
