PolyU kick-started the International Cultural Festival with an opening ceremony on 18 October. Prof. Wing-tak Wong, PolyU Deputy President and Provost, and over 20 esteemed Consul Generals, students, and staff, together celebrated global unity and understanding on this delightful occasion and enjoyed some mesmerising cultural dances from around the globe.

Spanning 11 days from 18 to 28 October, the Festival presents a splendid array of cultural events, including captivating workshops and exhibits of traditional arts as well as awe-inspiring dances and singing performances from various countries, taking the participants on a unique cultural adventure.

As PolyU’s inaugural international cultural exchange event, the Festival promises to offer an enriching experience where students from varying backgrounds can connect with, learn about, and appreciate each other’s cultures so as to foster a deeper understanding of cultural diversity among the University’s community.
