Continuing the momentum of our 85th Anniversary celebrations, PolyU recently presented two prominent speakers in our public lecture series. Ho Sai-chu, PolyU Alumnus and University Fellow, shared with us curated works comprising Chinese paintings and calligraphy from the late Ho Iu-kwong’s Chih Lo Lou Collection. Dr Louis Ng, Director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum, spoke on the importance of the inheritance of Chinese culture and the development of culture and education in Hong Kong. Both sessions were well attended by our staff, students and guests. As part of our 85th Anniversary Art and Culture series, a classic theatre drama “Our Town” was also featured and received overwhelming interest.

Catering for PolyU stakeholders, including students, staff, alumni, partnering organisations and the wider community, the year-long anniversary celebrations will soon come to a close. Highlights of upcoming activities to wrap up this important milestone will include a grand concert and a celebration dinner.
