Week 06 - Wearable Multisensory Emulation Technologies and Applications

Topic Overview:

This lecture presents the recent developments of multisensory emulation technologies and their applications in health, sports and embodied intelligence. It includes optical, electronic, magnetic and fluidic technologies for sensing, actuating and controlling wearable devices. Their advantages and limitations will be discussed. Five case studies will be presented together with prototype demonstrations.
