Topic Overview:

Wearable intelligence is transforming how people live, sense, and interact with the world. This lecture introduces recent advances in intelligent wearable technology, integrating smart textiles, advanced materials, flexible electronics, artificial intelligence, and design. It will present representative research in wearable sensing, smart garments, AI-enabled interaction, and assistive wearable systems. The lecture will also introduce PolyU’s MSc in Intelligent Wearable Technology, the first master’s programme in wearable technology in Asia, highlighting its interdisciplinary curriculum, research training, and opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship.
