Shanghai Centre

The PolyU Shanghai Centre was formed in 2023, having previously been known as the Shanghai Liaison Office. The Shanghai Centre serves as a hub to foster collaborative research and facilitate student exchange programs between PolyU and prominent local universities. Its primary objective is to be a prominent base to support PolyU’s development in the Yangtze River Delta region, encompassing destinations such as Shanghai, Anhui, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang provinces.

To fulfill its core functions, the Centre provides support for student recruitment, placement training and exchange visits, as well as supporting PolyU's knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship initiatives,and connecting with alumni in the region.

Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance

The Alliance was formed in November 2018. It consists of 8 institutions in Shanghai and 8 institutions in Hong Kong, including PolyU.
