Regional Bases

In the 90’s, bearing a vision to support the educational development of the country, PolyU allied with leading mainland universities in pioneering a series of educational programmes highly sought after by the country. Our prestigious partners include Peking University, Sichuan University, Tongji University and Zhejiang University. Today, PolyU has established 3 regional bases (Hangzhou, Xi’an and Chengdu), 2 centres (Beijing and Shanghai) and a research institute in Shenzhen. Integrated the strength of the region and our partner universities, each mainland regional base focuses on the development of different core functions such as education, research, global networking and student development which enable PolyU community to take part in national development and achieve global excellence.
