Nova Electric Limited

Nova Electric is developing a wireless charging platform for drones to enable safer and more continuous operations in low-altitude airspace. Current drones have limited endurance and often rely on manual battery replacement, which interrupts missions and increases operating cost. Our solution combines a multi-directional, anti-misalignment magnetic coupler with intelligent power control. A distributed transmitter coil array creates a wide charging zone, while a lightweight receiver integrated into the landing gear allows charging under large lateral offsets and any landing orientation (360°). The system monitors key electrical and thermal conditions and adapts operating points to maintain high efficiency and stable output. Modular charging nodes can be deployed on rooftops, work sites, and regional hubs to support inspection, logistics, and public-safety missions.
