PolyU InnoHub@Shaoxing
Established under PolyU’s MTRI policy, PolyU InnoHub@Shaoxing is an innovation and entrepreneurship platform located in the China Textile City Creative Park within Keqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shaoxing. The centre focuses on key industrial sectors such as smart textiles, modern construction and built environment, carbon fiber and composite materials, as well as food, nutrition and health. It aims to nurture innovative enterprises with high-growth potential and industrial value, and to build a PolyU-characterized entrepreneurship ecosystem that deeply integrates industry, academia, and research. By promoting the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements in Shaoxing and the eastern Zhejiang region, the centre contributes to regional industrial upgrading and high-quality development.
Eligibility Criteria:
Basic Requirements
(a) Registered or planning to register in Keqiao District, Shaoxing ;
(b) At least one person is fully committed to the start-up;
(c) Primary business operations or target market in Mainland China.
(d) No conflicts of interest with PolyU or affiliated institutes.
Additional Eligibility (Meet at least one of the following)
- Affiliation with PolyU: Startups founded and majority-owned by PolyU staff, students, or alumni.
- IP Commercialization: Companies with officially licensed intellectual property (IP) from PolyU/ SXRI
- Trial Licensing: Companies holding experimental or expedited patent licenses granted by PolyU/ SXRI
- Third-Party Recommendations: Startups recommended by PolyU-partnered incubators
