Summary
As space technology moves from research into a high-growth industry, how can we seize the opportunities and work with global partners to build a sustainable space innovation ecosystem?
Jointly organised byPolyU, the Chinese Society of Astronautics, and the International Astronautical Federation, The 2026 Flying to Deep Space–International Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation and Development will take place at PolyU on 16–17 April 2026. Building upon the successful sessions previously held at the China Space Conference, this high-level forum brings together senior representatives from national space authorities, international astronautical organisations, leading enterprises, research institutions, and renowned experts worldwide to advance dialogue and joint efforts across space science education, commercial space innovation, and lunar exploration.
The event will feature a main forum and three parallel sessions. Parallel Session 1: Commercial Space Innovation and Exploration (17 April) will spotlight commercial space ecosystem development and industrial innovation, offering a chance to connect with industry leaders, policy-makers and pioneers, and to explore technology pathways, applications and international collaboration in the new space era.
